I was born in India and have spent more than 26 years living in the United States. Travel & Toast grew from living between these two worlds—and from wanting to help others experience India with context, confidence, warmth, and care.
This began long before it became a business.
Planning surprise trips, honeymoons, vacations, and meaningful moments for people I love has always come naturally to me. I’m happiest when creativity, logistics, hospitality, and relationships come together.
In 2023, working alongside an India-based wedding-planning team reminded me how alive I feel helping turn an important occasion into something real. I learned that my contribution wasn’t only in managing details. It was in listening, building trust, and helping people feel genuinely taken care of.
Later, while traveling through India with a friend, I discovered that I didn’t only enjoy creating the plan—I loved being present for the journey. I loved offering context, navigating the unexpected, making introductions, solving problems, and helping someone experience India with greater confidence and connection.
Travel & Toast grew from those two instincts: personally hosting meaningful journeys and helping people bring weddings, celebrations, retreats, and shared experiences to life in India.
I speak English, Hindi, and Tamil fluently and bring a bicultural perspective shaped by being born in India and spending more than 26 years in the United States. I understand the expectations, communication styles, family dynamics, and cultural rhythms of both worlds.
Depending on the engagement, I can serve as your cultural and language bridge in India—helping you communicate with local partners, understand context, compare proposals, negotiate fair terms, and make confident decisions.
